Organic or natural gardeners don’t sprinkle artificial pesticides or fertilizers on their plants. The other key to growing organically is to choose plants, which suits the site. Plants growing in an organic conditions doesn’t require any special observation.
Instructions:
- The spot that you choose for your garden, should have an easy access to water, and should also be open for sunlight at least for half a day. Make sure the drainage system is good in that area. So that the rain water doesn’t get stagnant and spoil your garden. The other option is to grow a raised garden.

Clean the selected spot by pulling and digging out all the weeds. Wait till the sprouts come out and then clear it again to avoid weed problems in future.
- In case of a clay soil add a little sharp sand to it and rake it into rows or beds. It is good to allow the organic garden to develop its nutrients a month prior to planting.
- A natural mulch to cover the garden could be a good choice. Use a material that will help in decomposing during the process.

Begin a compost pile and grass clippings, recycle leaves, coffee grounds,kitchen waste and eggshells into a good organic fertilizer.
- To make your organic gardening a success – depend on plants that have good history for resisting diseases, especially the vegetables plants.
- Practice organic gardening – walk through your garden daily to see any sprouts coming out, scratch out all the weeds that sprout. And control the diseases and insects that infect your plants, to avoid problems in future.
