Give Your Garden A Make-Over.. Landscape it

What is landscaping- Landscaping is nothing but beautifying your garden, giving it a better look and styling it a bit- may be giving it a make-over.  Landscaping could be quite a task to do, but the results are always good (if you’re taking good care of it!).

When you think landscaping your garden is necessary, here’s what you do.

First, give your garden a good look and make a neat summary of all that you have and all that you want to have. It could be anything- you might want more plants or some accessories in your garden. Just note all that down.

Next, look at all that you don’t want in your garden. The first on the list will definitely be pests followed by weeds. Once the list is made, get all those out of your garden-a dead plant, an accessory that absolutely does not match-anything.

Then, make a design of your garden in the landscaped form- what fits where and how. Take a look at your budget and get all that you need for the “make-over” of your garden. That’s it- you are ready for a landscaped garden. See to it that the design of your garden is done measure to measure.

Now you are all set to go. Bring in beautiful and colorful plants, accessories like statues, colored stones and rocks, hanging pots, some chairs, or probably a water fountain if you have enough space. Introduce plants like conifers, fern or vegetables-whatever looks good on your garden, given the area and dimensions.

Landscaping only needs some logic, analysis and loads of creativity. Also, don’t forget to do your home-work about basic gardening.

Try mix-and-match. Experiment with your plants and see what goes best, if you’re not consulting a professional landscape designer. You can become an expert just by experimenting.
