I went with containers for practical reasons, but ended up having a great mobile landscape! We have vegetables and a dwarf apple. Some of our veggies grow up trellises. Since we live in the Pacific NW, our growing season is limited for our more favorite veggies. Having the containers on wheels has been helpful in allowing us to move the plants to more sunny locations as well as rearranging to suit our entertaining needs.
