  1. Once the ground gets frozen,  its time to mulch flowers. Ground freezing, thawing and re-freezing disrupts the plant’s root system. Mulching will protect your plants from heaving of the soil.
  2. Its time to reduce the feeding of houseplants.
  3. Take protective measures to prevent your plants from winter burn.
  4. It is a good idea to continue planting your spring flowering bulbs.
  5. Plants located near walkways and roads should be protected from salt.
  6. November is a good time to spread seeds. You can do that by taking seeds directly from the plants like Coneflower, Liatris or Balloon Flower.
