- If you plan to harvest garlic next year then this the best time to plant them
- Best time to prepare container roses for winter season and to shorten the hybrid tea roses
- Start sowing seeds of frost-tolerant perennials
- Don’t forget to water your evergreens and shrubs
- Clean and oil all your gardening tools to avoid rusting during winter
- Drain your hoses first as the water inside them don’t freeze and split them and keep it inside
- Lastly its better that you pull out all the annuals and add it to the compost
